Mehmet qualified as a solicitor in the UK in 2004 and as a lawyer in Turkey in 1995.

He worked in both Turkish and UK firms on a multitude of commercial and corporate transactions before founding Regnum Solicitors in 2008. He is a business lawyer who acts on a variety of transactional instructions including the sale and purchase of commercial and residential real estate properties.

He also acts in a wide range of corporate and financing transactions including project financing and refinancing, sale and lease back transactions, joint ventures, partnerships, shareholder agreements and corporate governance.

Mehmet acts for a diverse range of clients, including high-net worth clients, entrepreneurs, and medium and large corporate clients active in a variety of industries. He advises his clients at each step of their business, contributing to their success with his business minded approach to legal matters.

His clients appreciate his business and commercial experience as well as his practical, solution oriented approach to multi-faceted transactions, corporate and commercial law matters. The majority of his new clients approach the firm through recommendations from Mehmet’s existing clients and his network of fellow professionals.

He is a member of both the Law Society of England and the Istanbul Bar Association.

Erdogan advises and represents clients on both national and international commercial matters. His practice encompasses corporate and commercial contracts, finance and loan agreements, commercial disputes, as well as residential and commercial conveyancing.

He has also established a particular focus on immigration and human rights law.

Erdogan holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Computer Science from University College London. He went on to complete a Graduate Diploma in Law at the College of Law, followed by the Legal Practice Course at BPP Law School. In addition to his qualifications in England, Erdogan also completed his law degree in Turkey in June 2026.

Erdogan has been with Regnum since January 2009 and qualified as a solicitor in August 2011.

Hakki qualified as a solicitor and has worked with Regnum for many years. He has over 10 years’ experience in all aspects of commercial and residential property, including non-contentious landlord and tenant work, acquisitions and disposals and the property elements in corporate transactions. Hakki advises a variety of clients from start-ups to multinationals.

Hakki also has a Master of Laws (LLM) in International Commercial Arbitration and International Construction Contracts from Queen Mary University.

Aysegul is a dual-qualified lawyer, licensed as Attorney at Law in Istanbul, Türkiye since 2015 and as a Solicitor in England & Wales since 2021, with in-house and law firm experience. Her practice is focused on transactional work involving corporate and commercial contracts, M&As and corporate restructuring. She is also proficient in data privacy and regulatory compliance issues, especially competition law.

She completed her first degree in International Relations and Political Science (BA) at Bosphorus University, and her law degree at Queen Mary University of London (Senior Status LLB). Aysegul also holds an Executive MBA degree from Yeditepe University, with a focus on International Business Law.

Aysegul has worked with Regnum Solicitors as a Consultant Solicitor since 2021.

Omar has over 25 years of experience, acquired at several global law firms (including over 18 years as a partner at Latham & Watkins and Morgan Lewis & Bockius) and at the European Commission’s Directorate General for Competition, representing clients in complex global cartel investigations and civil proceedings for damages for breach of antitrust laws, as well as in merger control procedures, antitrust and on FDI matters, particularly those involving life sciences/healthcare, technology and the intersection of competition law with media/communications and environmental regulation.

His practice involves representing major global corporations such as WE Soda, TDK, Takeda, Zoetis, Kemira, UBS O’Connor, Public Investment Fund of Saudi Arabia, Singapore Airlines and The London Metal Exchange before UK, EU, and other competition authorities, courts, and tribunals and in commercial and regulatory litigation proceedings, including judicial reviews.
